Earlier this year, a Nintendo Direct with Dark Souls Remastered officially announced the re-release of the first part of Nintendo Switch. Shortly afterward, the release was also confirmed for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
PS4 and Xbox versions are not affected
Publisher Bandai Namco has announced via Twitter that Dark Souls Remastered for Nintendo Switch will no longer be released on May 25th but has been postponed to summer 2018. Bandai Namco gave no reason for the delay. The Nintendo switch version comes in full HD resolution and at 30 frames per second when playing in TV mode.
Dark Souls Remastered will still be released on May 25th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game will have an improved frame rate and resolution and include the Artorias of the Abyss DLC. On PS4 Pro, Xbox One X and PC, the title offers upscaled 4K resolution and 60 FPS frame rate.
