Ubisoft has released the extension The Next Generation, which was developed for Star Trek: Bridge Crew, today for PlayStation VR and without VR function for PlayStation 4. This is celebrated with a launch trailer. The extension will also be released on July 21, 2018, for Oculus Rift, Windows Mixed Reality and non-VR players on the PC.
The Next-Generation Extension
The download add-on is based on Star Trek: The Next Generation, so you can visit the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D bridge. It allows you to test your fighting skills against the Romulans or the Borg. On the Enterprise, players can assume the new command role of Operations Officer and control special functions of the ship. This includes the adjustment of the shield and an exact calibration of the target devices.
Star Trek: Bridge Crew – The Next Generation also includes two new modes. On the one hand, this is the Patrol, which gives you the opportunity to move freely through space and discover unpredictable battles and targets. The Resistance mode, on the other hand, is designed to push the most experienced crews to their limits. A series of challenges must be overcome in order to face a deadly Bork cube in a final showdown. This is available from today for PS4 and PlayStation VR.
